Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick and flavorful meal, combining tender chicken, melted cheese, and aromatic garlic in a crispy tortilla. Perfect for busy weeknights or a satisfying lunch.

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips, about ½-inch wide. In a large bowl, combine the chicken with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 cloves of minced garlic, Italian herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the marinated chicken strips in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and remaining 2 cloves of minced garlic. Microwave for 30 seconds or until the butter is fully melted.
  4. Lay out the flour tortillas and brush each with the garlic butter. Sprinkle ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese onto each tortilla, then add the cooked chicken strips. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll up tightly.
  6. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the chicken marinade. You can also add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor and nutrition.
