  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Rinse and pat dry the chicken pieces.
  • Mix buttermilk, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Submerge the chicken in the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Combine flour, paprika, and garlic powder in a separate bowl.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and dredge in the flour mixture, coating evenly.
  • Heat 1–2 inches of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
