Description

This Eggnog French Toast Casserole is the ultimate holiday breakfast! Made with buttery brioche, spiced eggnog custard, and baked to perfection, it’s topped with a creamy sauce for an indulgent treat. Perfect for Christmas morning or a festive brunch!


Ingredients

1 loaf brioche or challah bread, cubed

4 large eggs

2 cups eggnog

1/2 cup whole milk”

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

Place the cubed bread in the prepared baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, eggnog, milk, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Pour the eggnog mixture evenly over the bread, pressing gently to soak.

Drizzle melted butter over the top and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or a creamy eggnog sauce.
