Description

A bold, flavorful salmon dish featuring a spicy dry Sriracha rub and a sticky honey-lime garlic glaze. Perfectly seared and basted in a skillet, this quick and easy recipe delivers sweet, tangy, and spicy notes in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or off)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 1 1/2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry Sriracha seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, and black pepper. Stir well and set aside.
  2. Sprinkle the tops of the salmon fillets with dry Sriracha seasoning.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil and heat until shimmering.
  4. Place the salmon fillets, seasoned side down, into the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until seared.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Flip the salmon fillets and pour the prepared honey-lime sauce into the skillet.
  6. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, basting the salmon with the sauce.
  7. Flip the salmon once more and cook for another minute until cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  8. Remove the salmon from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate.
  9. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the salmon. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

For a milder version, reduce the amount of dry Sriracha seasoning or substitute with your preferred spice blend. Serve with steamed vegetables and rice to soak up the flavorful sauce. If dry Sriracha seasoning is unavailable, consider making your own or using a combination of chili powder and paprika.
